Major Major
Living a life as part of the majority gives one more opportunities to showcase one's self. Born into a society where most of the people are Filipinos brought up as Roman Catholic Christians really gave me a lot of opportunities to be accepted as almost anything I choose to be. At three years of age, I was sent to an exclusive school where I grew up in until I graduated as a sixteen year-old in high school. During these years, I felt free enough to flourish and grow into the ideal person I wanted to be. With everyone around me supporting my endeavors and encouraging me to do my best in everything I chose to undertake, I could not feel anymore happier. In a way, I could say that being a part of the majority influenced the way I think. Maybe being part of this society drove me to do things under everyone else’s radar but however it turns out to be though, I’m happy with the way I live at present: accepted, loved and being encouraged to pursue my dreams.
